While working today, one of my fellow co-workers was suffering from a hurt ankle. She had talked about it for a majority of the day and finally towards the end of the day I asked her what she had done to it. She informed me that she twisted it while she was mowing her lawn on Sunday and the pain was so severe yesterday that she could not come to work.
I asked her if I could pray for it and she said yes. Before praying I asked her to describe the pain on a scale from 1 to 10 and she said she can't put much pressure on it, so I took that as a 10.
I asked the Lord to come and intervene and commanded the pain to leave in the name of Jesus.
After praying I asked how it felt and she said it doesn't hurt as much as it did. I was about to pray again when my boss came up to ask me a question so I didn't have the chance, but right after my boss left I heard my co-worker yell at me that the pain in her ankle had completely gone away!
Praise the Lord!
At the end of the day my co-worker came up, gave me a hug, and told me that tomorrow she was going to have me pray for her lower back pain.
Thankful to the Lord for giving me the boldness to step out and share his love!
