GLORIFYING GOD. Bridgeway is a community of people created to display the greatness of God. Our vision does not start with us, it begins with God’s glory. We do not just serve a god, we serve The God, the one who demonstrated how great and perfect He is by dying on a cross so that those who had rebelled against Him (that is us) could live. HOUSE TO HOUSE. The primary expression of our life together is House Church. These are spiritual families, united by a vision to see Jesus change things. It is where we laugh, cry, forgive, love, and ultimately, give away to those who do not yet know Jesus.

LIFE ON LIFE. We also believe that everyone needs spiritual mothers and fathers. That is what we mean by “Life on Life.” Following Jesus is all about relationships. It is about learning from those who have gone before us and about giving what we have away to those coming behind us.

IN THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. We believe we are powerless to impact each other, much less whole nations, apart from the power of the Spirit.

TO THE WORLD. We live in full expectation that as we surrender our lives to Him we will see lives, families, communities, and nations transformed through us. We are not following a program, a teaching or an idea. Jesus says “Come, follow me.” We are following a person—He is the Beginning, the Middle, and the End.

OUR BIG DREAM IS to be the church.

  • We want to be the book of Acts in action—a group of people united by Jesus and His love. This produces what you see in Jesus— love, peace, joy, freedom, and miracles.
  • We want to be constantly dependent on God for everything and amazed at what He is doing.
  • We want to see stuff change — neighborhoods, cities and whole nations. We know things HAVE to change. We’re not okay with just going to meetings, hanging out, and hoping that one day God might do something with us. We’re not okay with racism and cancer and AIDS and poverty. We’re not sure how to do it, but we know it starts and ends with Jesus—He’s the one who changes stuff.
