He’s served at churches in Texas, Oklahoma & Missouri and was Associate professor of Theology at Wheaton College in Illinois. He has authored 16 books and founded Enjoying God Ministries in Kansas City (more info at www.samstorms.com). Sam is a Sooner! He’s graduated from The University of Oklahoma(B.A.), Dallas Theological Seminary (Th.M) and The University of Texas (Ph.D.). He and his wife Ann have been married for 36 years and are the parents of two grown daughters and have two grandsons. On a more personal level, Sam loves baseball (and all other sports; there’s just not enough room to list them here!), books, movies, and anything to do with his beloved Sooners. The only thing on TV he believes is worth his time is 24!
lanceLANCE HUMPHREYS left a successful business career in ethnic hair care products (no joke) to pursue ministry… A journey that started as a heart-cry to know more of God has become a zeal to change the whole world! Lance believes that when “church” becomes a lifestyle then families, cities, and nations will be transformed. Lance and his wife Stacy, with their two kids Jake and Emily moved to OKC in 2000 to be a part of a group of people whose favorite thing is Jesus. Lance loves books, coffee, Oklahoma City, music, cycling, fishing, the Church, travel, and young leaders. The Humphreys are lake people, “foodies”, love the outdoors, and they live in the woods. Did I mention that the Church is the hope of the world?
alexALEX ABSALOM is married to Hannah and they have three Elementary aged sons. The first thing you’ll notice about them is their funny accent – they are thoroughly English! Prior to joining Bridgeway’s leadership this summer they had served in three different churches in the UK, where Alex was an ordained Anglican minister. They moved to us from St Thomas’ Sheffield, a joint Baptist-Anglican church which very much shares the same DNA as Bridgeway, where they oversaw the young adult ministry and the church’s connections across Scandinavia. As a family they love to travel, ski, play soccer (not Hannah), support Liverpool FC (ditto), drink decent tea (not the kids, yet!) and wine (definitely not the kids yet!!). Hannah is a trained teacher, whilst prior to ordination Alex worked for one of Britain’s political parties and as a political junkie is very much looking forward to witnessing the 2008 Presidential election process!
joelJOEL LIMPIC moved to Oklahoma City in May of 2004 from California. He grew up in Brazil, and moved back to California to get his degree in business. While in college at Cal Poly, he led worship for Campus Crusade for Christ and The Burn, a local young adult service. After graduating, he worked for a few years in the music industry for a guitar company while continuing his involvement at The Burn Service. Now he helps out at Bridgeway with worship, leading locally and abroad. He recently acquired a strange obsession for bubble tea and the infamous TV show “24″.

susanSUSAN CRAWFORD is the pastor of the Children’s Training Center at Bridgeway. She is married to Ron, who is the youth director for Cross & Crown Mission in downtown OKC. They have three children: Gage, Jacey, and Corban. Susan has a bachelor’s degree in biology, which has proved to be not at all helpful in pursuing the call of God on her life, but fun to have nonetheless. She has been serving in Children’s Ministry at Bridgeway since 2003 and longs to see kids connect with the heart of God in a way that makes them passionate and radical followers of Jesus, now and for the rest of their lives!
