CTC TEAMS

To resource our Children’s Training Center, we have established CTC teams to help raise up this next generation of children. Here is a summary of the teams. We encourage everyone to see where he or she might fit in.

CORE TEAM is a team made up of 4-6 team members who take oversight of a group of children and commit to seeing the CORE values and vision carried among them. A CORE Team is responsible for creating an atmosphere among children that promotes the move of God and kingdom values. (CORE teams serve once or twice a month.)

STORYTELLER/CURRICULUM TEAM is made up of a team of people who resource the age groups by teaching. The storyteller will either rotate from room to room or be a part of a class rotation system. The storyteller serves twice a month.

ART AND CREATIVITY TEAM is made up of a team of people who oversee the arts (art, dance, drama, etc.). They will provide a creative atmosphere for the children. They will teach children how to express themselves to God in art and how to hear from God by the Holy Spirit through art. This rotating team serves once or twice a month.

WORSHIP TEAM is made up of a team of people who lead children into the presence of God. The leader of this team of people will ensure that each room has a worship experience weekly. The worship team member serves once or twice a month.

HOSPITALITY TEAM is made up of people who are passionate about serving and welcoming our people. This team will greet and welcome on Sunday mornings and will prepare the snacks for each room. This team member serves once or twice a month.

ADMINISTRATION TEAM assists the Children’s Pastor and the Cluster Leaders to carry out their jobs through communication and administration.

If you are interested in volunteering in any area of the CTC, please fill out an application (available in the Nursery and Pre-K areas on both sides of the building) and return it to Susan Crawford in the church office. For more information, contact Susan at 749-8044.
