The Company
a gathering of families with a common identity.

Core Values
UP
Intimacy with God
IN
Community with One Another
OUT
Mission to those who do not know Jesus

The Details
We are a group of people- some married, some parents, some students- learning to not neglect spiritual life together and the common denominator is that we all love Jesus and want to look more like him and keep our hearts tender before Him. We want to be diligent to listen to His voice, and quick to obey when we hear it. We realize that to live by the up, in and out values, we really need each other!

What the OUT Value Looks Like
For our community, mission is defined by our place and stage in life- it is the network where we naturally find our lives rooted. Young families and young professionals characterize The Company; our place of influence is with people entering family life and work life.We are asking God to allow our community to influence and serve young families and professionals.

We are a group of married couples in our 20s and 30s who, with our families, are learning to live authentic and relevant lives that glorify Jesus. We seek the Holy Spirit’s guidance in finding a balance between caring for our families as well and serving our local and world community with passion.

Mission: To equip young families and newlyweds with the knowledge and love of Jesus so that they that they can run the race with endurance.

…let us lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us fixing our eyes on Jesus the author and perfecter of faith for the joy set before him endured the cross.. Hebrews 12:1-2

We do this through authentic community that holds each other accountable and encourages each other in our walk with Jesus.

We aspire to live in a way that Jesus is glorified in all aspects of our lives.

Outreach: We are committed to supporting Tim and Lean Ulrich (Founders of OKC Refuge) in their calling. We do this through prayer, financial support, and work days. We want to see the broken and lost of the inner city restored through their mission.

The Living Room: We all need a place to experience family. Our house church wants to be that place.

Our Mission: We are committed to reaching out to those who are, for whatever reason without family. This includes those who’ve relocated due to work, school, or the military, students at local colleges, and those left without family due to other life circumstances.
We are called to this mission as a way of life, offering grace and redemption wherever God gives us opportunity. We will hold one another accountable to reach out to people without family who we meet at work, school, the grocery store, or in our neighborhoods. The Holy Spirit is the best networker when we listen and pray!

Our house church meets: in Edmond every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month. We begin by sharing a meal and conversation at the family table. Character is developed as each house church member is encouraged to be discipled in one of our Discipleship Groups (D-Group) that meet on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays. These smaller groups allow for deeper relationships as well as greater accountability.

Ideas for outreach:

  1. hosting movie nights in the backrooom
  2. opening our homes at the Holidays
  3. spending time with the boys from the Willow Spring’s Boy’s Ranch
  4. having game nights to eat and play games!
  5. hosting “girls night out” or “boys night in” for others to hang out with us at local restaurants or in our homes

Deuteronomy 14:29
“so that the Levites (who have no allotment or inheritance of their own) and the aliens, the fatherless and the widows who live in your towns may come and eat and be satisfied, and so that the LORD your God may bless you in all the work of your hands.”

Our Mission: We walk in the inheritance of our Father and pass a rich legacy of faith to our children. We minister to families with teens. “For you have heard our vows, oh God; you have given us the heritage of those who fear Your Name.” Psalm 61:5
