The mission of The FAM is to support and encourage Bridgeway families involved in foster/adoptive care, to be a resource for those who are seeking to foster/adopt, and to connect the church with opportunities to serve those families. We are inspired by the words in James 1:27, “Religion that is pure and undefiled before God the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction and to keep oneself unstained from the world.”
Here are some resources and ways you can connect:
FAM Mom’s Support Group | 2nd Mondays, 7 pm | Room 25
Monthly support group for Mom’s that have, are currently, or are pursuing foster or adoptive care of children. This is a time for encouragement, prayer, and support to build each other up in the Lord. Childcare will not be provided.
FAM Quarterly Gatherings | Dates & Locations TBD, check the events tab
We'll gather often to connect, share stories, and encourage one another in fostering and adoption. These are low-maintenance gatherings with food and fun where you can bring your family to just "be" together with others who are on similar journeys.
Created to Connect | Thursdays, 6:30-8:30p | Feb 8 - Apr 5 | Wayne & Amy Hancock
